Flights & Timing

No, airfare is not included. Each guest is responsible for booking their own flight to the destination. However, we do assist in helping you catch the best flight to your desired destination.

That depends on your departure city. We recommend choosing a trusted airline with reliable service and flight paths to your chosen destination. Our concierge team can advise you on the best options for your route.

We recommend arriving on the first day of your trip itinerary so you can fully experience every moment. If you'd like help coordinating flights, our concierge team can assist.

Plan to depart the final day listed on your itinerary, unless otherwise noted. Airport transfers can be arranged accordingly through our concierge team.

Zanzibar: Yes. U.S. citizens must apply for a tourist visa prior to arrival.

Yes. Travel insurance is mandatory for all trips. For Zanzibar, insurance must be purchased through a Zanzibar-approved provider.

As of now, there are no COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements for any of our destinations. Yellow fever vaccination is not required unless you're travelling from a high-risk country.

We recommend consulting your doctor or a travel health clinic at least 4–6 weeks before your trip for any recommended vaccinations.

Booking, Payments & Policies

Concierge Services

Non-Refundable Deposit. A deposit is due at confirmation and is non-refundable under all circumstances.

One-Time Reschedule. You may request one reschedule ≥ 24 hours before the original service time. Requests made later will be treated as a "no-show," the deposit forfeited, and a new booking at the then-current price will be required.

Price Changes. If the service price has increased at the time of reschedule, you agree to pay the difference.

Credit Card & Age. A valid credit card is required at booking and check-in; the cardholder must be 18+ years old.

Travel Insurance Recommendation. If the concierge service is linked to a scheduled trip, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering all incidentals and costs should the trip be missed or rescheduled. Losses from not securing such coverage are solely your responsibility.

Excursions

Non-Refundable Purchase. Excursions are non-refundable once confirmed.

Limited Reschedule. One complimentary reschedule is allowed ≥ 24 hours before departure, subject to availability. Excursions cannot be rescheduled for any other reason unless the operator cancels due to unsafe weather or other force-majeure events.

Weather & Safety. Itineraries may change or be cancelled at the operator's sole discretion for safety reasons.

Accessibility & Documentation. Some excursions are not wheelchair-accessible; international excursions require a valid passport.

Mandatory Insurance. Comprehensive travel insurance including excursion activities and medical cover is required.

Assumption of Risk. By participating you voluntarily accept all inherent risks and release the operator and Renewed Exscapes from liability, except as prohibited by law.

Special Events

Consultation Deposit — Non-Refundable. A deposit is collected solely for your initial consultation and event-design planning; it does not secure the event date itself. The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, but you may reschedule the consultation once with ≥ 48 hours' written notice. Requests made under 48 hours are treated as "no-shows" — the deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required to rebook.

Event Confirmation & Final Payment. Your event date is confirmed only after a separate Event Agreement is signed and the required event fee or payment schedule is satisfied. Failure to meet the payment schedule may result in cancellation of the event date without refund of any amounts already paid.

Date Change. One date change is allowed with ≥ 48 hours' written notice, subject to availability and any price increase at the time of change.

No-Show / Late Notice. Changes requested under 48 hours or failure to attend will result in 100% forfeiture of all monies paid.

Force Majeure. We may cancel or postpone an event for reasons beyond our control (severe weather, governmental action, public-health orders). Your sole remedy is transfer to the next available date; refunds are not offered.

Identification & Age Limits. Some events impose age restrictions; government-issued photo ID may be required.

Insurance & Property. You are responsible for obtaining insurance and for safeguarding personal belongings; we accept no liability for loss or damage.

Vacation Packages

Non-Refundable Purchase. All trip packages are sold on a strictly non-refundable basis once the booking is confirmed.

Mandatory Travel Insurance. You must obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, trip interruption, cancellation, and force-majeure events. By completing your booking you acknowledge this requirement and accept full responsibility for any losses from insufficient coverage.

One-Time Reschedule Window. A single date change is permitted only when requested in writing at least thirty (30) business days before the original departure date.

Forfeiture. Requests received later than this window are treated as a cancellation; all monies paid are forfeited.

Availability. All reschedules are subject to availability of comparable accommodations and services.

Price-Change Adjustments. If the package price has increased by the time your new travel date is confirmed, you agree to pay any difference in cost before the revised booking is finalized.

Liability Limitation. Our total liability for any claim arising from your trip shall not exceed the amount you have actually paid to us, except where a higher limit is required by governing law.
